The best way to learn about Lean is to experience it. But how do you get your staff to understand the thinking and techniques before applying it in their workplace? We have created a series of workshops which demonstrate how lean principles and tools can be applied through hands-on application to simulated processes.

These workshops are used by Lean practitioners as an interactive and fun way of introducing staff at all levels to the power of Lean. The advantage of using a simulation is that participants can freely experiment with the process without being constrained by paradigms of their own work processes. A fun learning environment is created where everyone plays a role and are encouraged to challenge the way the process is done, experiment with changes and experience the impact.

Alister has extensive experience applying Lean principles and techniques in both manufacturing and service environments.

He has been developing and using simulations for over 10 years as an interactive way of engaging people in Lean Thinking prior to running a Lean activity in their workplace.
